Ice Exposure Consulting Inc. is a premier family advisor firm. Our mission is to empower hockey players to achieve their goals on and off the ice. We have helped players advance to such levels as the NCAA, CIS, CHL, CJHL and NAHL.
Ice Exposure is based in Western Canada with staff located in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. In addition, we have advisors based in Michigan and California.
Ice Exposure was founded by Kelly Friesen. He formerly worked for Yahoo! Sports as an NHL draft & WHL analyst for six years and scouted for an NHL agency.
We are looking to expand our staff throughout Canada and the United States. We are looking for advisors and scouts with the following abilities and experience.
- Strong communication abilities
- A person of integrity and honesty
- Notable experience in Junior and/or College hockey as a player, scout, coach or reporter
- Strong knowledge of high-end midget and junior hockey
- Preferably played hockey at the level of AAA midget or higher
- Experience assessing hockey players’ talent level
- A desire to work full-time in hockey
Advisors are paid a 60 per cent commission rate to start with. If successful, there is opportunity to be paid a monthly salary plus commission. Most advisors begin working 5-10 hours per week with their workload increasing as they accumulate more clients.
Scouts are paid a referral fee for every client we sign that they recommend to our company. Most scouts who work for us already scout or coach for a junior or midget team.
