Kelly Friesen, President
Kelly is the founder and President of Ice Exposure. He lives in Saskatoon with his wife, newborn son and two daughters. He has been entrenched in the junior hockey scene since 2009, as he has held various positions as a scout, advisor and journalist. He formerly held the position as a WHL/NHL draft analyst for Yahoo! Sports from 2011-2017 and has been advising players since 2014. He has developed a large network across North America and Europe. He has helped players find opportunities in such leagues as the NCAA, CIS, CHL, BCHL, CJHL, NAHL and USHL.
Chad Taylor, Senior Advisor
Chad is based out of Manitoba where he coaches AAA Hockey. Chad grew up playing hockey and played at all levels from AA, AAA and then the St. James Canadians of the MJHL where he was fortunate to win back-to-back championships and finish top-5 in scoring in his final year. Chad is passionate about the sport of hockey and follows it at every level. He also scouts in the Manitoba Jr. Hockey league and with that has developed countless connections in the junior hockey world. He is looking forward to playing a pivotal role in helping hockey players advance their careers to the next level.
Shiann Darkangelo, Senior Women’s Advisor
Shiann is based in Ontario where she plays Professional Women’s ice hockey in the CWHL for the Toronto Furies. She is originally from Brighton, Michigan where she played minor hockey for Detroit Little Caesars and the U.S. Women’s u18 Team winning gold in 2011. She graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2015. Shiann has competed with the U.S. Women’s National Team, winning gold at the World Championships in 2016, and two Four Nations Cups in 2014 and 2015. Shiann has played 4 year of professional hockey both in the NWHL and CWHL, winning the Isobel cup in 2017 for the Buffalo Beauts. In the 2017-18 season Shiann was a Sports Ambassador for the Kunlun Red Star located in Shenzhen, China.
