Sam Spring – ’06 F

November 23, 2023 by Ice Exposure

Birthdate: August 29, 2006

Height & Weight: 6′1″, 175 lbs

Position: Forward

Shot: Right

Hometown: Cranbrook, British Columbia

Current Team: Westshore Wolves (VIJHL)

Player Description: I am a strong two-way center who is good on face-offs and can play wing or even defense if needed. I consider myself to be a physical player who can get in hard on the forecheck and turn lots of pucks over. I have good edges, speed, can make plays with my passing ability and have a strong shot. Defensively, I am good in the d-zone with a good stick and good positioning. I play with lots of energy and I am a capable leader who likes to get my team going with a big shift. I try my best to be a good teammate on and off the ice, a good student in the classroom, and I am working very hard on a complete game so I will be an impact player at the next level when I get there.

Hockey Aspirations: My goal for the 24/25 season is to earn a spot on a roster in the BCHL, AJHL or a similar Junior ‘A’ league. Once there, I want to grow my game and eventually reach my long term goal of playing NCAA Div. 1 Hockey.
